Floral Estates Fourth of July Party a real Blast!
Neighbors and Friends of Floral Estates were treated to the best Independence Day party ever as Jeff and Courtney Oskin, Mike and Kim DiBlasi and company teamed up to provide an outstanding day of fun and food. Fun and Games filled the day for adults as well as kids.
As the sun set, the neighborhood was bathed in brilliant colors as simply phenomenal pyrotechnics painted the night sky. Patriotism was the order of the day as everyone rose to the strains of our national anthem, and stirring music filled the air for the entire display which lasted some 20 minutes! The entire day was simply fantastic! The folks of Floral Estates once again prove how wonderful their neighborhood is! Bravo to all the people who worked hard to make it happen!
Community service is the priority for Girl Scout Group 3283. The troop recently presented a check to Saratoga Hospital in the amount of $393. The money is meant to provide some 131 Teddy Bears for pediatric patients in the Alfred Z. Solomon Emergency Center. Floral Estates’ own troopers Olivia Oskin and Annamarisa Sudigala were a big part of the fund drive!

At the April 14th meeting of the Board of Directors Ed Spickler, Glenn Clancy and John Costantino were elected to fill the three vacancies on the Board.
Appointments to the new Board were then made which resulted in the following:
President - Vince DeLeonardis
Vice President - John Costantino
Treasurer - Ed Spickler
Secretary - Glenn Clancy
Member - Peter Belmonte

All meetings are tentatively scheduled to start at 7:00pm in the Saratoga Springs Public Library, with the meeting rooms noted, but meeting times and places are subject to change. Check "Association info" - "Upcoming Directors Meetings" for late changes.

Has your mailbox been damaged or worse?
Residents wishing to have a new mailbox installed or have their present one repaired are in luck.
The mailboxes in the development come from Walpole Woodworkers in Maine. The address is 767 East Street Rt 27, Walpole, MA 02081. Phone # 508 668-2800. Replacement mailboxes are $98, plus S/H.
Residents interested in refurbishing their mailbox can avail themselves to a local man, Mr. Jim OHare at 664-1398, based on Pete Belmontes recommendation. He said he would remove your existing box, replace it with a temporary one and return and install the original box after it was refurbished. Price? $70.
A renewed interest...Recent developments have generated a renewed interest in a neighborhood watch. If you or any member of your family wishes to be part of the team, please contact Jeff Partridge over at 2 Magnolia. The duties associated with the NW are very simple, and anonymity is assured.
We are looking for people in the neighborhood to provide content.....
We are still looking for certain someones who want to have a hand in getting the news out to the community via the web. It really is fun! It is not that time consuming-maybe 10 or 15 minutes a week. Contact the Admins via this website if you are interested.
